Beyond our logo, color is the most recognizable aspect of our brand identity. Color sends a powerful message and is key to representing your personal brand. Your brand color is the most important element of your visual brand identity. People remember color because it stirs up eCreatemotions.Therefore, you want to choose colors that best represent your personality and your brand.
You are a brand, and you need color recognition as well. Your color choices for your marketing materials may or may not reflect your personal favorites. If you’re drawn to a particular color, that’s a good place to start when considering options for your brand materials. However, you need to know that colors have meanings and make bold statements. 1. just search ‘mint color palette’, or whatever color you’d like
2. find a pin you like with a combination you love
3. and save the image
Or have a graphic from your brand designs ready to use.
GET YOUR COLOR CODES
This is super easy! I realised you don’t need to be a techie to know all this but don’t worry if you can’t. Get someone to do so. I worked together with a graphic designer to make sense out of everything.
1. go to imagecolorpicker.com
2. upload your image (from the image you picked before)
3. click on the color you want from the uploaded image
4. copy the HEX code displayed
5. save your codes somewhere for reference
Applying your brand color(s) consistently will help others recognize and associate materials with you. You can brand materials that you use every day with your personal color(s). Possibilities include
